5.2.1 TWINPUMPOPERATION
Twinpumphasdoublehydraulichousingwithintegratedcheckvalve,whichautomaticlyturnsbasedonmedium
flow,andtwoseparatedmotors.PumpscommunicatewitheachotherthroughEthernetconnection(onlyavailable
onMAXC).Nightmodeisnotrecommendedinthismodeofoperation.
Pumpscanoperateinseveraldifferentmodes,switchingbetweendthepumpsisdonebythecommunications
module:
‐ Alternatingoperation[default setting] –Onepumpisoperatingwhiletheotheroneisonstandby.Pumps
switchtheirroleevery24hoursorwhenanerroroccursononepump.
‐ Backupoperation–Onepumpoperatesconstantlyandtheotheroneisonstandby.Ifanerroroccurson
theoperatingpumptheoneonstandbywillautomaticlystartworking.Thismodecanbesetupbyturning
offthepumpthatwewishtobeonstandby.Thatisdonebyholdingthe
buttonfor5seconds.
‐ Paralleloperation–Bothpumpsworkatthesametimewiththesamesettingsofconstantpressure.This
modeisusedwhengreaterflowthanonesinglepumpcanoutputisneeded.Whenthefirstpumphitsits
flowlimitthesecondoneturnsonandcomplimentsthefirsttoreachdesiredflow.
Thismodeisactivatedwhenwesetbothpumpstoconstantpressuremode.
