• Then the message objects are configured. For this reason,
- Message Configuration Register,
- Arbitration Registers and
- Message Control Register
of the respective message have to be initialized.
In the Message Configuration Register, the following configurations have to be made:
- Length of the Data Field of the message (DLC = 0000b - 1000b),
- Used protocol:
- XTD = 0: Standard CAN,
- XTD = 1: Extended CAN
