Cause
Troubleshooting
Solution
1. Motor cables are in poor
contact.
2. Motor cables are
grounded.
3. U/V/W cables of the motor
are short‑circuited.
1. Check whether the servo
drive power cables and
motor cables on the U, V,
and W sides of the servo
drive are loose.
2. After confirming the servo
drive power cables and
motor cables are
connected properly,
measure whether the
insulation resistance
between the servo drive
U/V/W side and the PE
cable is at MΩ level.
1. Tighten the cables that
are loose or
disconnected.
2. Replace the motor in case
of poor insulation.
4. The motor is damaged.
1. Disconnect the motor
cables and check whether
short circuit occurs
among U, V, and W
phases and whether burrs
exist in the wiring.
2. Disconnect the motor
cables and measure
whether the resistance
among U, V, and W
phases of motor cables is
balanced.
1. Connect the motor cables
correctly.
2. Replace the motor if the
resistance is unbalanced.
● E201.2: Phase‑V overcurrent
Description:
A current higher than the threshold is collected in the phase‑V current.
