Step 6: 4-Wire Installations (Separate Ground Wire)
The neutral wire of the supply circuit must be connected to the neutral terminal located in the lower
center of the terminal block. The power leads must be connected to the lower left and the lower right terminals of the
terminal block. The grounding lead must be connected to the frame of the range with the ground plate and the green
ground screw.
For Power Cord Installations
1 Remove the three lower screws from the terminal block. Do not loosen the upper screws.
2 Remove and retain the ground screw and ground plate.
3 Cut the ground strap below the terminal block and discard the lower section.
4 Insert the ground screw through the ground plate (previously removed) and back into the range frame. Tighten it
securely, but do not over-tighten (15 to 20 in-lbs.).
5 Insert terminal screws through each of the three power cord terminal rings and back into the terminal block. Make
sure that the white wire is in the center. Securely tighten each screw (35 to 50 in-lbs.).
6 Reinstall terminal block cover.
