Pressure control features (Your little bag of tricks!)
See Care, cleaning and storage for installation and removal of parts.
Pressure cooking lid
What we love about it What you should know about it
When you close it, it sets to Seal
automatically, for seriously easy
pressure cooking.
While plugged in, the Duo Crisp plays a
little jingle when you open and close the lid.
The lid is removable during non-pressure
cooking so you can taste-test as you go.
When you’re pressure cooking, the lid
only locks into place once the cooker
has pressurized. Try not to remove the lid
unnecessarily while the steam builds inside!
Removing the lid
01 Grip the lid handle and turn it counter-
clockwise to align the symbol
on the
lid with the symbol
on the rim of
the cooker base.
02 Lift the lid up and off the cooker base
towards your body.
Closing the lid
01 Align the symbol
on the lid with the
symbol
on the cooker base, then
lower the lid onto the track.
02 Turn the lid clockwise until the symbol
on the lid aligns with the symbol
on the cooker base
