CompactFlash Protection Plate
The protection plate provides extra security by covering a
CompactFlash card inserted in the back of the printer.
Special Printheads
Your printer comes with an 8 dots/mm (203.2 dpi) thermal printhead.
But, you can use optional printheads for special applications.

Printhead Description
203 dpi Normal Use this printhead, which comes with your printer, to
print on media with normal thickness.
Media thickness: Max 175 μm (7 mils)
203 dpi Thick Use this printhead to print on very thick tags and heavy
cardstock.
Media thickness: 170 to 220 μm (6.6 to 8.7 mils)
203 dpi Offset Use this optimized printhead to print on very thick tags
and heavy cardstock. This printhead has an offset that
prints 3 mm in on the media web to use all 832 dots of the
printhead on the label.
Media thickness: 170 to 220 μm (6.6 to 8.7 mils)
11.81 dots/mm (300 dpi) Printhead Options
Printhead Description
300 dpi Normal Use this printhead to print on media with normal
thickness.
Media thickness: Max 175 μm (7 mils)
300 dpi Thick Use this printhead to print on very thick tags and heavy
cardstock.
Media thickness: 170 to 220 μm (6.6 to 8.7 mils)
