Why Intex water pump does not work?
    • F
      fisherkatieAug 7, 2025
The Intex water pump might not be working due to several reasons. First, ensure the pump is plugged into the correct power outlet, then turn the control dial fully clockwise to the inflation position. If that doesn't work, the pump motor thermo-protector might have activated; in this case, turn off and disconnect the power cord, letting the pump rest for more than 30 minutes before resuming use. If the issue persists, the internal air pump may be defective, requiring you to contact an Intex service center for a replacement after removing it from the air bed and keeping the air bed in a safe place.

What to do if air is escaping through the Intex AP620D air passage?
    • J
      Jeffrey WatkinsAug 18, 2025
If air is escaping through the pump air passage or the manual inflation port after inflation, it could be due to a couple of reasons. Ensure the air passage is completely closed by turning the control dial to the center closed / pump off position. Also, check that the manual inflation port cap is securely closed by pushing the cap firmly into the manual inflation port.

If the Intex water pump motor is running but the air bed isn't inflating or deflating, turn the control dial fully clockwise until it stops to inflate the air bed. Or turn the control dial fully counterclockwise until it stops to deflate the air bed.
