    • R
      Robert JonesAug 16, 2025
If your Intex Water Pump isn't working, consider these potential causes: * Low water level: Fill the pool to the correct water level. * Strainer screen plugged up: Clean the strainer screens at the pool inlet. * Air leak on the intake hose: Tighten hose nuts and check the hose for damage. * Air lock inside the cartridge and motor chamber: Turn and pull the valve handle to the full upright position.

How to fix air lock in Intex Water Pump?
    • C
      cathy27Aug 20, 2025
If the Intex Water Pump has air trapped in the pump housing and inlet hose, open the air release valves, lift and lower the inlet hose until water starts to flow out of the valve, then close it. Also, ensure that the lower position of the pool outlet connects to the filter pump water inlet and the upper position of the pool inlet connects to the filter pump water outlet, as reversed connections can cause an air lock.

Why are there white flakes in the water with my Intex Water Pump?
    • C
      Chelsea WhiteAug 31, 2025
If you see white flakes in the water when using your Intex Water Pump, it could be due to excessive calcium hardness in the pool water. To resolve this, drain about 20 to 25% of the pool water and add fresh water to decrease the calcium hardness. Also, inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if necessary.
