What to do if my Intex ECO15110-1 Water Pump filter doesn't pump water or has very slow flow?
    • R
      Ryan HamptonAug 18, 2025
If your Intex Water Pump filter doesn't pump water or the flow is very slow, start by clearing any obstructions in the intake hose. Next, check for air leaks on the intake line by tightening hose nuts and inspecting hoses for damage, also check the pool water level. If the pool is excessively dirty, clean the pre-filtering basket more often. Backwash the filter if the sand media is clogged with dirt. Ensure that the nozzle is at the upper position of the pool inlet, and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet. If the filtering sand surface has crusted, remove about 1” of sand if necessary. Remove any pool vacuuming device attached to the system line. Ensure the inlet threaded air connector is connected to the pool inlet upper hole.

How to troubleshoot an Intex ECO15110-1 filter motor that fails to start?
    • A
      Alexander HarmonAug 20, 2025
If the Intex Water Pump filter motor isn't starting, ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) or RCD. Also, check if the GFCI/RCD circuit breaker has tripped and reset it. If it repeatedly trips, consult an electrician. The motor may also be too hot, in which case, let it cool down before restarting. Finally, check if the pump is in stand-by/power saving mode.

Why isn't my Intex Water Pump filter cleaning the pool properly?
    • J
      Jim MooreAug 23, 2025
If the Intex Water Pump filter isn’t cleaning the pool effectively, ensure the valve is set to the “FILTER” position. Clean the basket, operate the filter for longer periods if the pool is excessively dirty, and use an Intex pool vacuum to clean dirt or sand from the pool floor. For improper chlorine or pH levels, adjust them, and consult your local swimming pool supply stores. If there's no filtering media in the tank, load it with filter sand.

How can I fix insufficient chlorine levels with my Intex ECO15110-1 Water Pump?
    • C
      Chelsea JonesAug 28, 2025
If you have insufficient chlorine in your pool when using the Intex Water Pump, use a pool cover when the pool is not in use and/or when the unit is operating to avoid chlorine loss due to intense sunlight exposure. Increase the daily Saltwater System operating time if the bather load has increased or due to insufficient operating hours of the Saltwater System. Check the salt level with the Test Kit and adjust as needed if the salt level in the pool water is less than 2000ppm. Remove the cell for inspection, clean it if necessary if the electrolytic cell is clogged or dirty. Cover the pool with a pool cover for 2 days with the device running and then test the water using the test strips if there is a high UV level exposure.

What causes the 6-way valve or cover to leak on my Intex ECO15110-1 Water Pump and how to fix it?
    • A
      Anthony HowardAug 31, 2025
If the 6-way valve/cover is leaking on your Intex Water Pump, remove the 6-way valve cover and ensure the o-ring is in place. Clean the sand tank o-ring with garden hose water if it's dirty. Tighten the flange clamp securely if it's not tight.

    • Z
      Zachary DavilaSep 2, 2025
If sand is flowing back into the pool from your Intex Water Pump, ensure that you are using only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75. Change the sand if the sand bed is calcified.

Why are there white flakes in the water when using my Intex ECO15110-1 Water Pump?
    • M
      Matthew JonesSep 7, 2025
If you observe white flakes in the water while using your Intex Water Pump, drain about 20 to 25% of the pool water and add fresh water to decrease the calcium hardness. Inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if necessary.
