  If your Intex Water Pump isn't pumping water or the flow is slow, it could be due to several reasons. Check for clogs in the inlet or discharge and clear any obstructions. Ensure there are no air leaks on the intake line by tightening hose clamps and inspecting for damage, and verify the pool water level is adequate. A buildup on the cartridge may also be the cause, so replace it if necessary. If the pool is excessively dirty, clean the cartridge more often. Also, make sure that the nozzle is installed at the upper position of the pool inlet, and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet and that the pool inlet air adaptor is connected to the pool inlet upper fitting.

  If the pool inlet air adapter or air jet valve is leaking on your Intex Swimming Pool Pump, try tightening or reinstalling the hose clamps. Tighten the air jet valve and make sure it’s facing up. Plug in the pump and run it for a few seconds, then unplug, repeating this 3 times. Remove the air jet valve, flush out any dirt with water, and replace the valve. If the problem persists, replace the air jet valve.
