What to do if the Intex Krystal Clear SF90110T Swimming Pool Pump filter motor fails to start?
    • V
      Victoria MurphyAug 12, 2025
First, ensure the line cord is plugged into a 3-wire outlet protected by a Class A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, or RCD. If that doesn't work, reset the GFCI/RCD circuit breaker. If the breaker trips repeatedly, turn it off and consult an electrician. Also, the motor may be too hot; let it cool down before restarting.

If the pool is excessively dirty, operate the filter for longer periods. Also, clean the strainer screen at the inlet if it's restricting water flow.

Why is sand flowing back into my Intex Swimming Pool?
    • A
      Allen Giles MDAug 27, 2025
The sand might be too small. Use only No. 20 silica sand with a particle size range of 0.45 to 0.85 mm (0.018 to 0.033 inches) and a Uniformity Coefficient less than 1.75. Also, the sand bed may be calcified, in which case you should change the sand.
