Lastly, if the motor is too hot, let it cool down before restarting.

Then, clear any obstructions in the intake hose by discharging it inside the pool wall. Check for air leaks on the intake line by tightening hose nuts and inspecting hoses for damage, also check the pool water level. If the pool is excessively dirty, backwash the filter. If the sand media is clogged, remove about 1 inch of sand if necessary. Ensure the nozzle is at the upper position of the pool inlet and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet. Remove any pool vacuuming device attached to the system line and ensure the inlet threaded air connector is connected to the pool inlet upper hole.

  If the inlet threaded air connector or air jet valve on your Intex Water Filtration System is leaking, tighten or reinstall the plunger valve. Ensure the air jet valve is tight and facing up. Turn the pump ON and run for a few seconds, then turn OFF, repeat 3 times to clear any blockage in the air jet valve internal seal. Remove the air jet valve, flush dirt out with water, and replace the valve back if the internal seal is dirty. If the air jet valve is broken, replace it with a new one.
