Why is the chlorine level insufficient in my Intex Lighting Equipment?
    • Z
      Zachary StoneJul 30, 2025
If the chlorine level in your Intex Lighting Equipment pool is insufficient, several factors could be at play. First, consider increasing the daily operating time of the Saltwater System. Also, ensure the salt level isn't below 2000ppm by checking it with a test kit and adjusting as needed. Intense sunlight can also deplete chlorine, so use a pool cover when the pool is not in use or when the unit is operating. Increased bather load also requires more operating time for the system. Lastly, a clogged or dirty electrolytic cell can hinder chlorine production; remove the cell for inspection and clean it if necessary.

What to do if my Intex Lighting Equipment pool is stained?
    • E
      ehamptonAug 4, 2025
If you notice pool staining with your Intex Lighting Equipment, it could be due to high copper ion concentration. To address this, drain approximately 20% of the pool water and replenish it with fresh water to lower the copper ion concentration to below 0.2ppm. Additionally, you can add aluminum sulfate (around 2g per 1000 liters of water) or aluminum potassium sulfate (around 3g per 1000 liters of water). Using a lemon-based cleaning product, preferably one containing citric acid, can also help. Avoid scrubbing with aggressive cleaning products, as they may damage the underlying surface.

How to fix insufficient copper ion level in Intex Lighting Equipment?
    • A
      asmithAug 8, 2025
If you are experiencing low copper ion levels in your Intex Lighting Equipment, try the following: first, increase the daily operating time. If the pH is too high, use a pH decrease chemical to adjust it. If the bather load has increased, increase the operating time per day. A clogged or dirty electrolytic cell can also cause this issue, so remove the cell for inspection and clean it if necessary. If none of these steps work, the copper electrode may be defective, and you should contact the Intex Service Center.

Why are there white flakes in the water of my Intex Lighting Equipment?
    • J
      jill05Aug 12, 2025
If the water in your Intex Lighting Equipment has white flakes, it might be due to excessive calcium hardness. Try draining 20-25% of the pool water and refilling with fresh water to reduce the calcium hardness. Also, inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if needed.

How to prevent green hair in Intex Lighting Equipment pool?
    • A
      Adam WallaceAug 16, 2025
If your hair has turned green while using Intex Lighting Equipment, it's likely due to a high concentration of copper ions in the water. To remedy this, drain about 20% of the pool water and add fresh water to reduce the copper ion concentration below 0.2ppm. You can also add aluminum sulfate (2g per 1000 liters of water) or aluminum potassium sulfate (3g per 1000 liters of water). Additionally, using ‘Ultra-Swim’ shampoo or a shampoo containing chelating agents can help remove the green tint from your hair.

How to troubleshoot no LED display on Intex Lighting Equipment?
    • S
      Stephanie OsborneAug 26, 2025
If there is no LED display on your Intex Lighting Equipment, ensure the cell cord is firmly plugged into the cell housing receptacle. Also, check if the RCD/GFCI has not reset, and if so, reset it. If these steps don't resolve the issue, contact the Intex Service Center, as a power fuse may have blown or the LED may have failed.

What to do if LED Panel Code flashes and alarm goes on Intex Lighting Equipment?
    • I
      imerrittNov 20, 2025
If the LED panel on your Intex Lighting Equipment is flashing a code and the alarm is on, ensure the filter pump is attached and operating. If your unit has plunger valves, make sure they are open. Clear any debris or dirt from the filter cartridge and cell, and release trapped air in the circulation line. Check the direction of the inlet and outlet hoses, reversing them if necessary. Also, verify the flow sensor conduit's arrow points in the same direction as the one on the cell, reversing it if needed. Clean the flow sensor, paying attention to the hinge, and ensure it's firmly plugged into the receptacle. Reset both timers on the filter pump and saltwater system. Inspect and clean the electrolytic cell if needed, and add salt if necessary. Ensure the cell cord is firmly plugged into the...
