    • B
      Benjamin SolisAug 13, 2025
To address insufficient chlorine, try the following: Increase the daily operating time of the Ozone & Saltwater System. Check and adjust the salt level using the Test Kit. Add an appropriate stabilizer. Use a pool cover when the pool is not in use or when the unit is operating. Inspect the cell, cleaning it if needed. You can also cover the pool with a pool cover for 2 days while the device is running, then test the water. If the pool is clean, add stabilizer and test the water while the device is running.

Why are there white flakes in my Intex Water Filtration Systems?
    • K
      Karen WilliamsAug 21, 2025
White flakes in the water are typically caused by excessive calcium hardness. To fix this, drain about 20 to 25% of the pool water and add fresh water to lower the calcium hardness. Also, inspect the electrolytic cell for scale buildup and clean it if necessary.

      Madison LewisNov 5, 2025
If the LED panel code flashes and the alarm is on, several issues could be the cause. First, make sure the filter pump is properly attached and running. If your unit uses plunger valves, ensure they are open. Clear any debris from the filter cartridge and cell. Also, release any trapped air in the circulation line. Check the inlet and outlet hose direction, reversing them if needed. Clean the flow sensor, especially the hinge. Ensure the flow sensor cord and the electrolytic cell cord are firmly plugged in. Reset both timers on the filter pump and the Ozone & Saltwater System. If the salt level is low, add salt. If the salt level is high, partially drain the pool and refill with fresh water.
