  If your Intex Water Pump isn't heating properly, first, make sure the temperature isn't set too low and that the spa cover is attached. A dirty filter cartridge can also cause this, so clean or replace it. If the heater is in STANDBY mode, press the flame button twice to heat the water to the set temperature. The heating element may have failed.

The causes can be a loose air valve cap or base, or a hole, cut, or split in the spa tub.

Coat the o-ring with petroleum jelly for a waterproof seal. Remove the grid from inside the spa with a screwdriver, ensure the inlet/outlet O-ring is in place, clean, and not damaged. The causes can be that the spa control base inlet/outlet connections are not securely tight or the spa control base inlet/outlet o-ring is missing or dirty.
