  If your Intex Water Pump isn’t pumping water or the flow is slow, try the following: * Release any trapped air (refer to the operating instructions section). * Clear obstructions in the intake hose. * Tighten hose clamps and inspect hoses for damage; also, check the pool water level. * Backwash the filter if the pool is excessively dirty. * Remove about 1” of sand if the sand media is clogged with dirt or has crusting/caking. * Ensure the nozzle is at the upper position of the pool inlet and the strainer at the lower position of the pool outlet. * Remove any pool vacuuming device attached to the system line. * Confirm the inlet threaded air connector is connected to the pool inlet upper hole.

If that doesn't solve the issue, try turning the pump ON for a few seconds, then OFF, repeating this 3 times. If the internal seal is dirty, remove the air jet valve, flush out dirt with water, and replace the valve.
