Removingcarbonbrushes
1.Switchoffmobilitydevice.
2.Removedrivewheels.
3.DisengagemotorAbysettingtheengagingleverto
“Push“.
4.LoosenandremoveallfourplasticcapsB.
Notethexingpositionandlocationofthe
carbonbrushes.
Usedcarbonbrushesneedtotherettedexactly
inthesamepositionfromwhichtheyweretaken
inordertoguaranteeoptimumcontacttothe
collector .
5.Makeamarkingonthemotorandthecarbonbrushes
inordertoguaranteecorrectinstallation.
6.RemovecarbonbrushescompletelyfrommountingC.
7.Checkcarbonbrushandspringforlevelofwear,broken
componentsordiscolouration.
Installingcarbonbrushes
1.Dependingonconditionofbrushandspring:-either
installbrushesinexactlythesamepositionfromwhich
theyweretakenor-tnewbrushes.
2.Installplasticcapsandtightenthemrmly.
3.Installdrivewheels..
Thefollowingprocedureisnecessarytorun
carbonbrushesinafterreplacementandthus
guaranteemaximumperformance.
CAUTION!
Riskofaccidents
Injuriestoworkers,damagetosurroundings
andmobilitydevice.
–Donotleavemobilitydeviceunattended
duringthefollowingprocedure.
–Securearea.
4.Liftmobilitydeviceupononesideandgetasecond
persontoplaceawoodenblockaround14cmhigh
underneathitsothatthedrivewheelissuspended
freely.
5.Repeatonothersideofmobilitydevice.
6.Allowmotorstorunforanhourinforwarddirection.
7.Allowmotorstocooldownfor30minutes.
8.Allowmotorstorunforanhourinreversedirection.
9.Liftmobilitydeviceoffwoodenblocks.
