1.UnziptheoutercoveralongthetopoftheMatrx®PBback,
andpeel/pullbackthecoverandfoamtoaccessthepre-drilled
mountingholesinthebackshell.
Ifapplicable,removeexistingheadrestmountingplateand
hardwarefromthebackshell.
2.AligntheshimplateBandharnesssupportbracketAwiththe
pre-drilledheadrestmountingholesonthebackshell.
3.Usingthehardwareprovided,installthemountingscrewsGor
Hfromtheinsideofthebackshellsothattheyprotrudethrough
theshimplateandharnesssupportbracket.
Asetoflong(25mm)andshort(20mm)mountingscrewsis
providedineachhardwarekit.TheshortscrewsGallowthe
supportharnessbracket/shimtobeinstalleddirectlyontothe
backshell;thelongscrewsHareintendedforusewhena
headrestclampJ(notprovided)isinstalled.

Clamp/AssemblyontoaMatrx®PBback,always

(provided)areused.
–Alwaysensurethereissufficientscrewthreadavailable
tofullysecurethenylocnutsE.
4.SecuretheSupportHarnessMountingBracket(andheadrest
clamp,ifapplicable)ontothebackshellusingthenylocnutsE.
5.InstallthesupportclipsI(includedseparatelywithyoursupport
harness)usingthe12mmclipscrewsFprovided.
Supportclipsmaybeinstalledin1of4positions(widths)
alongtheharnessmountingbracket.
Priortoinstallingthesupportclips,pleaserefertoyour
SupportHarnessUserManual(providedseparately)for
importantsafetyinformationandinstructionsregarding
properharnessset-up.
SupportClipadjustmentisavailablein12.5mmincrements.
SupportHarnessinstallationisshownwithoutaheadrest
mountingplate.

6.Verifythatallmounting/installationhardwareisfullysecured.
7.Re-alignthefoamandcoveralongthetopoftheMatrx®PBback
shellandcloseupthezipper.
WiththeSupportHarnessMountingBracketAssemblyfully
installed,pleaserefertoyourSupportHarnessusermanual
(providedseparately)forimportantsafetyinformationand
instructionsregardingtheproperset-upandinstallationof
yoursupportharness.
