Overview

The IPC Gansow CT100 is a professional floor cleaning machine designed for efficient and thorough cleaning operations. This quick guide provides essential information for its operation and maintenance, serving as a supplement to the comprehensive Use and Maintenance Manual.

Function Description

The CT100 is a walk-behind scrubber-dryer that performs several key functions to clean floors:

  • Detergent Application: It features a detergent tank that can be filled with cleaning solution. The flow of detergent to the brushes is controlled by a tap.
  • Brushing/Scrubbing: The machine uses brushes to scrub the floor surface. These brushes can be attached and detached automatically, and their pressure on the work surface is adjustable, indicated by lit LEDs.
  • Water Collection/Squeegeeing: A squeegee system is employed to collect dirty water from the floor. The squeegee can be lowered and raised using a lever.
  • Dirty Water Recovery: The collected dirty water is stored in a dedicated drum, which can be emptied via a drain hose.
  • Mobility: The machine is self-propelled, with a drive lever that allows the operator to move it forwards (pulling upwards) or backwards (pushing downwards). The work speed can be adjusted using a potentiometer.
  • Safety Features: An emergency button is present to immediately turn the machine on or off. A parking brake ensures the machine remains stationary when not in use, engaged by pressing a pedal downwards and to the right, and released by pressing downwards and to the left.

Important Technical Specifications (Inferred from manual)

  • Power Source: Battery-operated, requiring charging when the battery level is low. The battery charge is displayed on the machine.
  • Brush System: Automatic brush attachment/release mechanism. Adjustable brush pressure.
  • Squeegee System: Lever-operated lowering/raising. Replaceable blades.
  • Tank Capacity: Features separate tanks for clean detergent and dirty water.
  • Controls: Potentiometer for speed adjustment, drive lever for movement, emergency button for power, pedal for parking brake, button for brush pressure adjustment, tap for detergent flow.
