Mounting and adjusting the squeegeeMounting and adjusting the squeegee
The squeegee (g. A, ref. 5) is the component primarily responsible for drying the oor.

► check that the squeegee mount (g. E, ref. 1) is lowered, otherwise lower it by means of the squeegee
lever (g. D, ref. 2);
► insert the threaded ends of the knobs (g. E, ref. 2) through the slots in the mount (g. E, ref. 1);
► x the squeegee by tightening the two knobs (g. E, ref. 2);
► couple the suction hose (g. E, ref. 4) to the squeegee, making certain it is pushed fully home;
The squeegee blades scrape the lm of water and detergent from the oor and prepare the way for perfect drying.
With time, and the constant wiping action, the edge of the blade in contact with the oor becomes rounded and
cracked, diminishing its drying e󰀩ciency, so that ultimately a new blade is required. The state of wear should be
checked frequently.
For perfect drying, the squeegee must be adjusted in such a way that the edge of the rear blade bends during
operation by about 45° with respect to the oor at every point. The height of the blade during operation can be
adjusted by regulating the height of the wheels positioned behind the squeegee (g. E ref. 3).
