in these instructions, the protection provided by the
instrument may be impaired.

Do not use the instrument if it is wet or damaged
• Use the instrument only as specied in these
instructions or the protection offered by the
instrument may be impaired
Do not measure more than the rated current, as
marked on instrument
Use caution with voltages above 30 Vac rms,
42 Vac peak, or 60 Vdc. These voltages pose a
shock hazard
To avoid false readings that can lead to electric
shock and injury, replace battery as soon as low
battery indicator
appears
Do not use the instrument in hazardous areas or
around explosive gases or vapours
Wear suitable personal protective equipment when
working around or near hazardous live conductors
which could be accessible
Use extreme caution when working around bare
conductors or bus bars. Contact with the conductor
could result in electric shock.
