General Information:
The Fire-Lite is a replace designed, tested and listed
with the ability to be installed on a combustible oor system.
The design and installation require that the system use
FTF-13, Class A metal ue, or equal.
Also the Fire-Lite assembled unit must sit on a raised,
noncombustible platform.
The parts of the Fire-Lite replace are an applica-
tion of the Magnum Series Fireplace. The requirements for the
Magnum re brick installation will apply. See page 19 of this
manual for re brick installation.

Intended Use Statement:
The Fire-Lite is intended to burn solid wood fuel,
propane or natural gas. The replace is intended for use as a
supplemental heat source only and is not intended for heavy
use as a primary heating system.
Notes:
The local authority having code jurisdiction should
be consulted before installation to determine the need to obtain
a permit.Areas of concern are the same as stated on page 5 of
this manual.
Do not scale drawings. Illustrations in this manual are
not to scale and are intended to show “typical” installations.
Nominal dimensions are given for design and framing ref-
erence only, since actual installations may vary due to job
specic design preferences. Always maintain the stated mini-
mum clearances to combustible materials. Do not violate any
specic installation requirements.
The Fire-Lite has been tested and listed by Warnock
Hersey (Report Nos. J20004277-231 and 632-912500) to UL
127-1999. These units are intended for installation in residen-
tial homes, and other buildings of conventional construction.
Fire-Lite replace systems are also designed for installation
in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association
Standard for chimneys, replaces, vents and Solid Fuel-Burn-
ing Appliances (NFPA 211).
Fire-Lite replaces are not listed for use with replace
inserts.
Safety Instructions:
Because the Fire-Lite is an application of the Mag-
num Series replace, the safety instructions are listed on pages
5 & 6 of this manual. Please refer to them and read them care-
fully before installing your Fire-Lite unit.
