Panel Displays SN--2
Open or shorted sensor (heater disabled). The temperature sen-
sor is not functioning. Contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer or
qualied service technician. The display will alternate between
“SN--2” and the current water temperature. The display will al-
ternate between “SN--2”, scrolling message “WATER SENSOR
ERROR” and the current water temperature.
Panel Displays Change CLEARRAY Bulb
The CLEARRAY bulb timer has expired. UV bulb needs to be re-
placed. The display will alternate between the current temper-
ature reading and the scrolling message “CHANGE CLEARRAY
BULB” as long as the error exists. The countdown timer for the
UV bulb needs to be reset. A new UV bulb can be purchased from
a local Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays Change Filter
The lter change timer has expired. The spa lters need to be
cleaned or replaced. The display will alternate between the cur-
rent temperature reading and the scrolling message “CHANGE
FILTER” as long as the error exists. The countdown timer for the
Change Filter feature needs to be reset. New lters can be pur-
chased from a local Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays Change Water
The water refresh timer has expired. The spa needs to be drained
and relled. The display will alternate between the current tem-
perature reading and the scrolling message “CHANGE WATER”
as long as the error exists. The countdown timer for the Change
Filter feature needs to be reset. New lters can be purchased
from a local Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays FL--1
An “FL--1” display means the ow switch is malfunctioning open,
the lter cartridge is excessively dirty or an “air lock” condition
has occurred at the circulation pump intake. The spa heater will
deactivate and jets pump #1 may also deactivate. Contact your
authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualied service technician. The
display will alternate between “FL--1, scrolling message “FLOW
ERROR OPEN” and the current water temperature.
Panel Displays FL--2
An “FL--2” display means the ow switch is malfunctioning
closed. The spa heater will deactivate and jets pump #1 may also
deactivate. Contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualied
service technician. The display will alternate between “FL--2,
scrolling message “FLOW ERROR CLOSED” and the current wa-
ter temperature.
Panel Displays OH
Do not get into the hot tub, as the water may be too hot.
Water temperature is above acceptable limits. DO NOT ENTER
SPA! Water temperature has reached 112°F (44°C). The circula-
tion pump has activated to circulate water through heater. Con-
tact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualied service techni-
cian. The display will alternate between “*OH*” and the current
water temperature.
Note: As a safety measure, the red lights of the spa will ash on and
o as an indication that the spa is an overheat condition.
To correct condition:
Remove the spas cover and allow your spa to cool down.
Program the heater settings for Economy Mode. Raise water
temperature setting to cancel Summer Logic condition.
If the condition persists, contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer.
Panel Displays (-- -- -- --)
Do not get into the hot tub, as the water may be too hot.
Water temperature is above acceptable limits. DO NOT ENTER
SPA! The safety Watchdog” software has been triggered and the
spa is deactivated. A problem has been detected which could
cause damage to the spa or its components. The display will al-
ternate between “-- -- -- --” and the scrolling message “WATCH-
DOG CALL FOR SERVICE” as long as the error exists. Contact your
authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualied service technician.
Note: As a safety measure, the red lights of the spa will ash on
and o as an indication that the spa is in watchdog condition.
Troubleshooting Procedures
In the event your Jacuzzi spa is not working the way it should, please
rst review all the installation and operating instructions in this
manual and check for messages on the panel display. If you are still
not satised it is working properly, please follow the appropriate
troubleshooting instructions below.
Always insist on genuine Jacuzzi replacement parts.
Note: If any of the supply cords to accessories are damaged, they
must be replaced by authorized service personnel. Contact your
authorized Jacuzzi dealer or qualied service technician.
FL--1 and FL--2
To try an correct an FL--1 and FL--2 condition perform the fol-
lowing:
Disconnect the hot tub from the electrical power supply.
1. Verify water level is above all jets but below lowest pillow. Add
water if necessary.
2. Check for clogged or dirty lter cartridge (Sec. “Cleaning The
Filters”).
3. Purge air lock from circulation pump intake by removing l-
ter cartridge. Hold your garden hose over the lter cartridge wall
tting while using a rag as a seal around hose end. Ask a helper
to turn on water for 30 seconds, then turn o. Reinstall lter car-
tridge and check spa (Sec. “Cleaning The Filters”).
4. If the recirculation pump is not working, try turning the main
switch on and o.
5. If problem persists, contact your authorized Jacuzzi dealer.
None of the Components Operate (e.g. Pump, Light)
