“W
ater provides healing”, armed the Abbot,
Sebastian Kneipp in the latter part of the
nineteenth century, setting the foundations
for modern hydrotherapy: a healing method based upon nu-
merous water applications.
Partial and complete showers, cold, hot or steam baths, bare-
foot walks (even in seat water or streams) help us reawaken,
all thanks to the thermal contrast produced by cold and hot
water, natural self-healing mechanisms of the body.
The rst reaction which can be felt on the skin is followed by a second reaction which af-
fects the internal body tissues, connected to the surface via nerves: by acting on the blood
concentration, a state of balance is applied to the body part to be healed. A natural practice
which stimulates innate healing, activating the aforementioned to re-stabilise the state of
health.
Hydromassage is a form of therapy which takes place using water jets at specic pres-
sures and directed in a clearly dened direction.
The Jacuzzi® hydromassage tubs represent the results of detailed design research and
are designed so that specic attention is paid to the position of the jets, which are con-
sidered in terms of the ergonomics of internal forms, to optimise the eects of the hydro-
therapy actions.
Stimulation of the skin using warm baths and hydromassage increases the circulation,
blood ow, even the lymphatic system, activating enzyme activity stimulants.
Hydromassage provides signicant eects in terms of treating issues associated with
blood circulation in the legs, but also in the case of osteoarthritis, rheumatic disorder,
phlebitis.
The therapeutic properties of hot water are eective for all body types, sizes and to
meet all stress levels and serve an extremely important role for many patients suering
with musculoskeletal pain, all thanks to the heat and hydrostatics of the water.

use allows you to use dierent types of hydromassage: ranging from the Shiatsu
dorsal sequence to the personalisable Aquasystem® programmes, least forgetting
the possibility of fusing the two systems.
An exclusive Jacuzzi® patented hydromassage system, which includes two parallel rows
with 32 jets, located along the “vu” meridian which, according to
Chinese medicine, bestows energy to the entire body from the back.
The water microjets are positioned so that they make contact and activate all the cer-
vical, dorsal and lumbar points, applying the same gradual pressure of the ngers of a
masseur.
The pressure is governed by a complex electro-hydraulic system which produces a
genuine water ow, and progressive “rolling” of pressure: this is exactly what happens
with Shiatsu. The treatment can be carried out according to two modes: from bottom
upwards (toning) and from top downwards (relaxing)..
