1. The Jacuzzi® spas are class "1" appliances and therefore they must be permanently con-
nected, without any intermediate connecons, to the electrical system and to the pro-
tecon system (earth system)."
2. The power supplied to this swim spa must be a dedicated circuit with no other applianc-
es or lights sharing the power provided by the circuit.
3. The installer must use cables with a suitable cross-secon, with minimum characteriscs
equivalent to type H 05 VV-F.
4. For connecon to the power supply network, we recommend installing an isolang mul
-pole switch, which will ensure-sure complete disconnecon in the event of a category III
over-voltage; these devices must be posioned in an area that com-plies with the safety
regulaons.
5. The electrical system of the building must be provided with a 0.03A differenal switch
and with an efficient protecon (earth) circuit. Check for proper operaon of the differ-
enal switch by pressing the TEST buon, which should trip.
6. The electrical circuit supplied for the swim spa must include a suitable ground fault cir-
cuit interrupter (GFCI) as required by NEC Arcle 680-42/USA.
7. To gain access to the swim spa’s power terminal block, pull the boom of the door panel
to break the magnec lock of the door to the frame. Place the door panel in a safe loca-
on to prevent damage.
8. Select the power supply entrance you want to use, Figure A. Make sure to install a 3/4”
electrical fing and conduit through the large opening provided in the side of the con-
trol box so you can feed the cable through to the terminal block.
9. Connect wires to the terminal block (Figures B-C). ALL WIRES MUST BE SECURELY CON-
NECTED or equipment damage could result!
10. Install the door panel back into place.
