Note: Approximately one to two gallons will be released during this procedure. Use a wet /
dry vacuum or other means to keep this from flooding the equipment compartment. Replace
the drain plugs.
8. Loosen the unions at the ends of the heater(s) and vacuum up any water that comes out
of the heaters.
9. Reinstall the cabinet side panels and cover the swim spa so that no casual moisture can
enter into it.
Consult your Jacuzzi dealer if you have any quesons regarding winter use or winterizing.
12.9 Starng Your Swim Spa in Cold Weather
If you want to start up your swim spa aer it has sat empty for a me in freezing tempera-
tures, be aware that the water remaining in certain secons of the piping may sll be frozen.
This situaon will block water flow prevenng the swim spa from operang properly and pos-
sibly damaging the equipment. We recommend you consult your dealer for guidance before
aempng to restart your swim spa under these condions.
13.0 Water Quality Maintenance
To decrease the risk of contracng a waterborne illness (e.g. an infecon, bacteria or virus)
and / or respiratory ailments, maintain water quality within specified limits. This will enhance
your enjoyment and prolong the life of the swim spa’s equipment. Doing so requires regular
aenon because the water chemistry involved is a balance of several factors. Procrasnaon
in regard to water maintenance will result in poor and potenally unhealthful condions for
soaking and even damage to your swim spa investment. For specific, guidance, on maintaining
water quality, consult your authorized Jacuzzi dealer who can recommend the appropriate Ja-
cuzzi chemical products. Jacuzzi chemicals are for use in the U.S. only.
