Cleaning Hook Race and Feed Dog
WARNING:
Raise the presser foot and needle, and then unplug
the machine.
DO NOT dismantle the machine other than as
explained in this section.

. Insert the bobbin and attach the needle plate
aligning the holes with the guide pins.

⁄0 Tighten the setscrew firmly.

NOTE:
After cleaning the machine, attach the needle and
presser foot.
m Replacing Bobbin Holder and Needle Plate
, Insert the bobbin holder.
Make sure to fit the knob next to the stopper in the
hook race.

n Wipe inside of the hook race with a dry cloth.
NOTES:
You may use vacuum cleaner.
This machine does not require oiling.
b Brush out dust and lint from the feed dog and clean
the hook race with the lint brush.
v Clean the bobbin holder with the lint brush and soft
dry cloth.
r Bobbin holder
x Remove the setscrew and needle plate.
c Take out the bobbin and bobbin holder.
z Remove the needle and presser foot.
