Cleaning the Hook Race
Clean the hook area at least once a month.
Turn the power switch off and unplug the
machine.
Remove the needle and presser foot.
NOTE:
Do not dismantle the machine in any way
other than as explained in this section.
z Remove the screw on the left hand side
of the needle plate with the screwdriver.
Remove the needle plate.

x Take out the bobbin and bobbin holder.
e Bobbin holder
c Clean the bobbin holder and feed dog with
the lint brush.

WARNING:
Turn the power switch off and unplug the
machine before cleaning.
v Clean the hook race with a soft cloth.
y Soft cloth
b Insert the bobbin holder so that the knob fits
next to the stopper in the hook race.
Insert the bobbin.
Attach the needle plate, presser foot and
needle.
