5. System update
(1) Turn your Memory Craft 15000’s power switch OFF.
(2) Insert the USB flash drive that contains the update files into the USB port of your MC15000.
Note: Either port on Memory Craft 15000 can be used.
(3) Press and hold the Lock Stitch button and the Needle Up/Down button
at the same time and turn the power switch ON.
Hold the buttons down for at least 3 seconds until the LCD screen turns
yellow. (For updates from version 1.04 or earlier, the LCD screen will turn
white when the buttons are pressed and held down.)
Note: The LCD screen turns red when the update files are not properly
transferred, or your Memory Craft cannot detect the USB flash drive.
(4) The Color Bar will appear on the machine’s LCD screen and the updating process
will automatically start.
Note: Do not turn off your Memory Craft 15000 while it is in the updating process.
Do not remove the USB flash drive while your Memory Craft 15000 is in the
updating process.
(5) The LCD screen of the Memory Craft 15000 will turn blue and show “Finish”
when the update is complete.
(6) After the update is complete, turn your Memory Craft 15000’s power switch OFF.
(7) Remove the USB flash drive from your Memory Craft 15000.
(8) Turn your Memory Craft 15000’s power switch ON again.
