b Apply a thin layer of a glue to the wrong side of the
applique (cut as in step c).
Attach the applique along the seam line on the
background fabric.

• Apply the glue lightly where the machine will not
stitch.
• If the glue sticks to the needle or the hook race, it
may cause breakage or malfunction.
