Repositioning the Forks
!MWARNING
Forks are heavy. Take care when spacing forks or
folding back the forks.

K Changing the Forks ( T 159)
There are two types of fork carriage that can be fitted,
depending on which type you have, use either of the
following instructions:
Industrial Carriage Fork Adjustment
1 Park the machine on solid level ground.
2 Make sure the park brake is engaged and select
neutral. Lower the forks as required to enable the use
of suitable lifting equipment to move the forks.
3 Stop the engine. Remove the key.
4 Release locking pins A and slide the forks to the
desired position using suitable lifting equipment.

Note: Your machine will have either twist and pull or pull
type fork locking pins. K

!MWARNING
If the fork/locking pin is not fully engaged, the fork
could become unintentionally disengeged.

5 Remove the lifting equipment and make sure the
forks are correctly located. Re-engage locking pins A
and make sure the pins are correctly located.
Bar Carriage Fork Adjustment
1 Park the machine on solid level ground.
2 Make sure the park brake is engaged and select
neutral. Lower the forks as required to enable the use
of suitable lifting equipment to move the forks.
3 Stop the engine. Remove the starter key.
4 Remove the retaining pins A. K

5 Using suitable lifting equipment, reposition the forks
as required ensuring that each fork is positioned
between two holes on the mounting bracket B.
6 Refit the two pairs of retaining pins A, using one pair
for each fork. Make sure that each pin drops freely
into place and that each pair of pins is positioned as
shown.

7 Remove the lifting equipment and make sure the
