7. Disengage the winch “free-spool”
by pulling out on the “T” handle
and turning the handle 90°. The
handle should remain in the “free-
spool” position. Never turn this
handle while the wire rope is
under load! This allows the wire
rope to be pulled directly off the
drum to the work.
8. Position the boom head by using
the boom up and down control
lever and the boom in and out
lever.
