5.1- Tractor coupling
Couple the machine on leveled and even ground.
a) Align the rear of the tractor with the machine.
b) Turn the tractor off and put on the park brake.
c) Couple its three points to the hydraulic lift, according
to side picture.
Note: Begin by the left point, then the right point and at
last the third one.
Stabilizing chain
The stabilizing chain’s (1) function is to stabilize the
machine during transport and harvest, relieving the load
that acts on the tractor’s hydraulic lift.
a) Fasten one of the chains’s end (1) to one of the
hitching holes of the top link and the other end to the
machine’s right hitching point, according to side
pictures.
Note: When adjusting the harvester work height (see
the next item), make sure the chain (1) is fully stretched,
supporting most of the machine’s weight in good
conditions.
Note:
After installing the stabilizing chain and
before checking its stretch, go away from the
machine to lower it.
