b) With the Allen wrench (5), remove the screws (6 and
7) from the upper rail (8).
c) Disjoint the upper rail (8) and remove the sharpener
(9).
d) Remove the fastening nut (10) and remove the shaft
+ stone set (1).
Note: The shaft + stone set (1) makes a single piece and
they cannot be purchased separately, because the
stone is glued in the factory with a special glue.
e) Install a new shaft + stone set in the sharpener (9).
f) Assemble the sharpener (9) again, following the
reverse order of the disassembling.
Check whether all the components are duly adjusted.
Attention:
Never operate the harvester without
shields, covers and fairings.
Note:
Always use the recommended Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE), because when
you get the sharpener near the knives you
may be injured.
