Gasket Sealing Compound to outside metal
casing of a new upper main bearing seal. Using
Seal Installer,

321539, install the seal with its
lip facing down.
Lightly coat both sides of a new cylinder head
gasket with
Gasket Sealing Compound. Install the
gasket and
cylinder head. Tighten the screws
in
the sequence shown and torque 216 to 240
in.
Ibs.
(24 to 27 N·m).

Place the thermostat and the seal

the cavity

the cylinder head. Set the spring
on
top of the thermostat.
