**This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a safety feature to reduce
the risk of electric shock. this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. if the plug does not fit fully in
the outlet, reverse the plug, if it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension
cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Connect Neck to Base

Pull power cord to connect Neck (B) to Base (A). Screw Neck onto Lamp base securely, avoiding twisting the power cord.

Step 2: Attach Harp, Shade, and Bulb

Insert Harp (E) into Saddle (C). Place shade (F) on Harp (E), secure with Finial (G). Insert bulb (H) into socket (D).

Step 3: Final Stability Check

Place the assembled lamp on a level surface to verify stability. Ensure all parts are secure.
