Repair Instructions
Checking and Adjusting the Brake Cable
FR 13, FR 2111
Make sure that the brakes are properly adjusted by
measuring the distance between the brake lever
and the cut-outs forward edge on the chassis.
The distance should be 01 mm with the brake off.
1
Loosen the lock nuts (1).
2
Tension the cable with the adjustment screw (2) so
that the distance between the brake lever and front
edge of the cut-out on the chassis is 1 mm.
3
Tighten the lock nuts (1) after adjustment. When the
brake cable is adjusted, you should make sure that
the brake lever does not have too much play. If the
range of movement of the lever arm exceeds 9 mm,
it should be adjusted by tightening the nut on the
brake lever arm.
1
Loosen the lock nuts (1).
2
Tension the cable using the adjuster screw (2) until
the play in the cable disappears.
3
Tighten the lock nuts (1).
4
The brakes should be checked again after the
adjustment has been made.
Hydrostatic Machines
Check that the brakes are correctly adjusted by
placing the rider on a slight downhill slope with the
clutch disengaged and activating the brake.
If the rider does not stand still the brake needs
adjusting.
WARNING!
A poorly adjusted brake can
result in reduced braking ability.
