Charge the battery pack in an environment with a temperature range between 5ºC
and 40ºC. Charging outside this range may not fully charge the battery.
- Don´t charges the battery pack for a long time; the battery life will be shortened.
Remove the battery pack from the desktop battery charger when the charging is
completed.
- Do not use the radio while charging the battery pack. We suggest turn OFF the
radio while charging process.
- While charging, we recommend that you not remove the battery pack from the
desktop battery charger or shut OFF the power supply from the charger so as not
to interfere with the charging process.
- It is normal for the battery pack to warm up slightly during the charging process.
- Do not charge the battery if it is fully charged, otherwise the battery life will
shorten or damaged.
- Do not charge if the battery or the radio is wet. First clean with dry cloth before
charging.
- When the battery operating time decreases considerably, after being fully
charged, replace it with a new one of the same characteristics as the one supplied
with the radio.
- Avoid contact of the battery terminals with metallic objects to avoid short-circuit
that can cause battery damages, personal injury or to the objects damages. Take
special cautions if you keep the battery together with metallic objects.
- Keep the fully charged battery in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
When the radio indicates low battery, proceed to charge it.
Charging procedure:
1. Connect the AC/DC adapter to a wall outlet that supplies the same voltage indicated
on its characteristics label and connect it to the desktop battery charger.
2. Place the battery pack or the battery with the radio in to charger slot. Make sure that
the battery terminals have properly connection with the charger's charging
terminals.
3. After the charge is complete, remove the battery pack or the radio with its battery
from the desktop charger slot.
- The switch-off device of the desktop battery charger is the AC/DC adapter.
Battery pack storage:
1. The battery pack should be keep with a 50% - 100% charge.
2. It should be keeping in a cool, dry environment and removed from the radio.
3. Keep it away from any heat source and direct sunlight.
- Do not install or remove the battery pack in areas with fire or explosion risk, a
spark can cause an explosion.
- Do not expose the battery pack to high temperatures and keep it away from fire,
it may cause an explosion.
- The battery discharges faster when it is installed in the radio. Always remove it
from the radio when you are not using it for a while.
