6.3 Operation
1. Lower hydraulic lift until dethatcher is
on the ground and approximately level
front to rear. It may be necessary to lift
the rake slightly when cresting rising
terrain.
2. Dethatcher may be locked up using the
5” clevis pin inserted behind the lift
tube
3. It is best to fully lower the dethatcher to
the floor when trailering the dethatcher
and Toro Multi-force unit. This prevents
undue stress on the mount while
traveling.
CAUTION
Use the Tine Rake Dethatcher for its intended purposes only. Never use
it to carry, push, pull or drag any object other than its intended purpose.
Misuse can lead to damage of the attachment.
Do not exceed speeds of 8 mph.
Mark all sprinkler heads and other obstacles in lawn.
A Crush Hazard exists when mounting attachment to mount bar. Do Not
allow anyone to stand between tractor and attachment while mounting.
Always make sure the clevis pins are secure before operation.
Always make sure the parking brake is engaged on mower, engine is
turned OFF and key is removed before mounting the attachment.
