The drive does not raise or lower the roller shutter,
starts too slowly or with loud noises.
Possible cause 1:
y The connections are not correct.
Solution 1:
y Check the connections.
Possible cause 2:
y Incorrect installation or overload.
Solution 2:
y Check the installation and shutter load.
The roller shutter stops during lifting or lowering!
Possible cause 1:
y Reaching the set end point.
Solution 1:
y Set end points again according to instructions.
Possible cause 2:
y Operating time exceeded (4 min.).
Solution 2:
y Allow the tube motor to cool down for approx. 20 minutes.
The engine does not run!
Possible Cause:
y The mains voltage is missing.
Solution:
y Use a voltmeter to check whether the supply voltage (230
V) is present and check the wiring.
y Verify the installation.
The tube motor does not stop automatically during adjust-
ment work and test run.
Possible cause 1:
y The adapter may have slipped off the race on the drive
head.
Solution 1:
y Check that the adapter sits flush in front of the drive head
and is fully inserted in the roller shutter shaft.
y Push the adapter back flush in front of the drive head and
push the roller shutter shaft completely onto the adapter.
Readjust the end points if necessary.
Possible cause 2:
y Roller capsule not fixed or roller shutter shaft too short.
Solution 2:
y Fix roller capsule or insert suitable roller shutter shaft.
The motor moves in the wrong direction at the touch of a
button!
Solution:
y Check the programming of the handheld or wall transmit-
ter.
y Reprogram transmitter if necessary.
The tube motor stops between both end points in normal
operation!
Possible Cause:
y The thermal protection has responded.
Solution:
y Allow the engine to cool down for approx. 20 minutes.
The roller shutter blocks when it is raised!
Possible Cause:
y Iced roller shutter or obstacle in the
running rail.
Solution:
y Remove icing or obstruction.
y Release the roller shutter in the downward direction.
y ATTENTION! The motor has no blockage and obstacle
detection!
