Connecting Power to WLC100 Wireless LAN Controllers
The power for WLC100 controllers is supplied using an external power adapter of 120 W
rating. This adapter provides a DC output of 54 V. The power inlet is on the rear panel of
the controller.
To connect power to a controller:
1. If the power source outlet has a power, set it to the OFF (0) position.
2. Insert the jack of the external power adapter into the power inlet on the rear panel of
the controller.
3. Insert the power cord plug into the power source outlet.
4. If the power source outlet has a power switch, set it to the ON (|) position.
5. Verify that the LED labeled POWER on the front panel of the controller is lit and is on
steadily.
