Returning WLC100 Wireless LAN Controllers
If you need to return a wireless LAN controller to Juniper Networks for repair or
replacement, follow this procedure:
1. Determine the serial number of the controller you want to return. The serial number
ID label is pasted on the bottom panel of the controller chassis.
2. Obtain an RMA from JTAC as described in “Contacting Customer Support to Obtain
Return Materials Authorization for WLC100 Wireless LAN Controllers” on page 45.
NOTE: Do not return any controller to Juniper Networks unless you have
first obtained an RMA. Juniper Networks reserves the right to refuse
shipments that do not have an RMA number. Refused shipments are
returned to the customer through collect freight.
3. Pack the controller for shipping as described in “Packing WLC100 Wireless LAN
Controllers for Shipping” on page 46.

If you are returning a wireless LAN controller to Juniper Networks for repair or replacement,
obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) from Juniper Networks Technical
Assistance Center (JTAC).
