Record Using the Viewfi nder
Recording by using the viewfi nder is
recommended in bright environments where
the LCD monitor is diffi cult to see or to
increase recording time on battery.
Preparation:

Press the PLAY/REC button to select
recording mode.
1 Close the LCD monitor.
2 Extend the viewfi nder.
3 Adjust the view using the control bar.
NOTE
If the LCD monitor is opened while using
the viewfi nder, the picture will move to the
LCD monitor and will not be displayed in
the viewfi nder. To set the viewfi nder as
priority when recording, set the [PRIORITY
SETTING] to [FINDER]. (
