PRIORITY SETTING
Set whether to project the
image onto the LCD monitor or
viewfi nder when both are open.
[LCD MONITOR] : Projects the image onto the LCD
monitor.
FINDER : Projects the image onto the viewfi nder.
l DISPLAY
Enables you to set whether to
display the on-screen display.
OFF : Turns off the on-screen display.
[ON] : Turns on the on-screen display.

DISPLAY ON TV
Used for displaying camera’s on-
screen display on a TV screen.
[OFF] : Does not display on TV.
ON : Displays on TV.
NOTE
When connected to a TV using the i.LINK cable, the
camera’s on-screen display is not displayed on the TV, even
if this setting is [ON].

Set the television screen size
(16:9/4:3) of the connected
television when outputting from
the AV/S connector.

Set the defi nition of the video
output from the COMPONENT
connector.
[480i] : Outputs at 480i.
1080i : Outputs at 1080i.

HDMI OUTPUT
Set the defi nition of the video
output from the HDMI connector.
[AUTO] : The defi nition that best suits the connected
device is automatically selected in the following
order: 1080i, 480p.
480p : Outputs at 480p. Select when the video is not
projected correctly.
U
HDMI COLOR SETTING
Set the video format of the video
output from the HDMI connector.
[AUTO] : Select this under normal circumstances.
RGB : Select when the video is not projected correctly.
V
HDMI ENHANCE SETTING
Select whether or not to
automatically adjust the image
quality (depth of color, dark color
suppression etc) of video output
when connecting to the TV’s DVI
connector.
[OFF] : Image quality is not automatically adjusted.
ON : Image quality is automatically adjusted.
W
i.LINK OUTPUT (DUB)
When using the i.LINK connector
to copy fi les, set according to the
type of device connected or fi le
picture quality.
DV : Select when copying with a device that supports
DV input.
[1440 CBR] : Select when copying video that was
recorded with [1440 CBR] set as the [QUALITY].
