FLASH
For setting the flash.
Setting Details
OFF Flash does not fire.
AUTO Flash fires automatically when the surrounding is
dark.
AUTO RED-EYE Fires a pre-flash to reduce red-eye effects.
ON Fires flash at all times.
SLOW SYNCHRO Fires flash at all times, and slows down the shut-
ter speed to capture both the subject and back-
ground brightly.
Memo:

The flash icon displayed on the screen blinks while the flash is charg-
ing.
●
The flash does not fire when “SHUTTER MODE” or “NIGHT EYE”,
“NIGHT”, or SNOW in “SCENE SELECT” are set.

SHOOTING
Records still images continuously while the
SNAPSHOT button is pressed.

You can change the continuous shooting speed with CONT. SHOOT-
ING SPEED in the basic settings menu.

Some SD cards may not support continuous shooting.
