Taking Close-up Shots
You can take close-up shots of an object using the tele macro function.

Touch D to display the menu.

Select “MANUAL SETTING” and touch C.

Select “TELE MACRO” and touch C.

Select “ON” and touch C.

Setting Details
OFF Enables close-up shots up to 1 m at the telephoto (T) end.
Enables close-up shots up to 5 cm at the wide angle (W)
end.
ON Enables close-up shots up to 60 cm at the telephoto (T) end.
Enables close-up shots up to 5 cm at the wide angle (W)
end.
CAUTION:
When you are not taking close-up shots, set TELE MACRO to “OFF”.
Otherwise, the image may be blur.
Capturing Human Subjects Clearly (Face
Detection AE/AF)
“FACE PRIORITY AE/AF” automatically adjusts the detected face with an
appropriate focus to brightness.
This function is available for both movies and still images.

Select video or still image mode.

Touch D to display the menu.

Select “FACE PRIORITY AE/AF” and touch C.

Select “ON” and touch C.

Point the camera toward the human subject.
.
A frame appears around the face of the subject, and the focus and
brightness are automatically adjusted.
If multiple faces are detected, the face that is closest to the camera will
be focused.
