1 While listening to a conventional FM
broadcast or FM HD Radio broadcast...
The Main Menu appears on
the display.
2 Move the cursor to “MODE” on the
Main Menu.
3 Enter the FM MODE Menu.
4 Select “LO/DX.”
5 Select “Local.”
DX: To tune in to all receivable stations.

lights up.
Local: To tune in to only stations with
sufficient signal strength.
• lights up.
To exit from the Menu operation, press
MENU again.

When a conventional FM stereo
broadcast is hard to receive
• This function is only valid for conventional
FM stations.
1 While listening to an FM broadcast...
The Main Menu appears on
the display.
2 Move the cursor to “MODE” on the
Main Menu.
3 Enter the FM MODE Menu.
The last selected item appears (highlighted)
with the current setting.
4 Select “Mono.”
5 Select “On.”
On: Reception improves, but stereo
effect will be lost.

lights up.
Off: Normally select this.
To exit from the Menu operation, press
MENU again.
