SELECTING THE AC POWER
VOLTAGE
When this deck is used in an area where the supp-
ly voltage is different from the preset voltage,
reset the voltage selector to the correct position.
Turn the voltage selector with a screwdriver so
that the desired voltage marking is set to the ar-
row mark.
Caution:
Disconnect

Wenn das Cassetten-Deck in einem Gebiet verwendet wird,
in dem die Spannungsversorgung und die vorher eingestellte
Spannung verschieden sind, drehen Sie bitte den Spannungs-
wahler in die richtige Stellung.
Drehen Sie den Spannungswahler mit einem Schrauben-
zieher so, dals die gewunschte Spannungsmarkierung dem
Pfeil gegenubersteht.
Warnung:
Entfernen Sie das Netzkabel, bevor Sie die Spannung
andern.
CONNECTION TO AC MAINS (KD-V6B ONLY)
In the United Kingdom, the mains lead supplied with the recorder enables it to be operated from 240 V AC
mains supplies.
The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Blue — Neutral Brown — Live
If these colours do not correspond with the terminal identifications of your plug, connect as follows:
Blue wire to terminal coded N (Neutral) or coloured Black.
Brown wire to terminal coded L (Live) or coloured Red.
Do not make any connection to the larger terminal coded E or Green or Green & Yellow.
If in doubt — consult a competent electrician.
CONNECTIONS
© Do not switch the power on until all the con-
nections are completed.
O Insert thé plugs firmly, or poor contact will
result, causing noise.
© When the pin-plug cords are employed, always
connect the white plug to the left channel ter-
minal. This helps avoid reversed connections.
1. Connection to a stereo amplifier.
When installing the deck, be sure to install some
distance from your amplifier. !f they are stack-
ed, noise (hum) may occur.

schlusse hergestellt sind.
© Stecker fest in die Buchsen stecken, da Wackelkontakte
StOrgerausche zur Folge haben.
© Bei Verwendung von Stiftsteckerkabeln ist der weife
Stecker stets mit der linken Kanalbuchse zu verbinden.
Nur so ist volle Stereo-Wirkung gewahrleistet.
1. Anschlu& des Gerats an einen Stereo-Verstarker
Stellen Sie das Deck nicht unmittelbar neben oder auf
den Verstarker, weil sonst Stdrgerausche auftreten
konnen.
CHANGEMENT DE LA TENSION
D‘ALIMENTATION
Si l'on utilise le magnétophone 4 cassette dans un endroit
ou fe la tension du courant d‘alimentation est différente
de la tension prérégiée, il convient de régler le sélecteur de
tension a la position correcte.
Tourner le sélecteur de tension a l'aide d’un tournevis de
maniére que la position de la tension désirée soit placée a la
marque de fléche.
Attention:
Débrancher le cordon d‘alimentation avant de changer la
tension.
RACCORDEMENTS
O Ne pas mettre l’appareil sous tension tant que toutes les
connexions ne sont pas effectuées.
© Brancher les fiches 4 fond, sinon if risque de se produire
des mauvais contacts qui engendrent des bruits
Parasites.
© Lorsque sont employés des cordons munis de fiches a
broche unique, toujours brancher la fiche blanche a /a
prise du canal de gauche, et la fiche rouge a la prise du
canal de droite, ceci afin d’éviter d’inverser les conne-
xions.

Quand vous installez votre appareil, Eloignezde de votre
amplificateur. S‘ils sont empilés, des bruits (ronflements)
