at
the
motor
base
Check
the
connection
of
R21,

whether

is
made
between
the
collector

the
positive
and
negative
terminals)?
Does
the
voltage
appear
at
the
emitter
of
X814?
Does
the
voltage
appear
at
the
collector
of
X814?
Does
the
AC
voltage
appear
between
Pins
1
and
2?
Check
the
soldered
points
of
the
connection
cord
and
the
power
board,
to
see
whether
the
connection
cord
is
in
con-
tact
with
the
power
board,
etc.
Check
whether
X812
or
-
X813
is
open
or
short-
circuited,
whether
D805
is
short-circuited,
whether
D805
or
R853
is
disconnect-
ed,
etc.
If
anything
is
defective
replace
it.
Check
whether
D806
is
open,
whether
the
printed
pattern
is
cut,
etc.
If
anything
is
defective
replace
Check
the
fuse
of
the
pri-
mary
winding
of
the
trans-
former,
the
connection
of
the
transformer,
the
solder-
ed
points
of
the
AC
cord,
etc.
If
anything
is
defective,
replace
or
repair
it.

printed
Pattern
between
the
collector

the
base

a
short
circuit
is
made
between
the
collector
and
emitter
of
X11,
does
the
turntable
rotate?
Does
the
output
appear
between
the
bases
of
X5
and
X7
or
between
the
bases
of
X6
and
X8?
Does
the
turntable
rotate
by
hand?
Does
the
output
appear
either
between
the
bases
of
X5
and
X7
or
between
the
bases
of
X6
and
X8?
Any
of
X1
-
X8
may
be
defective.
Or
check
the
connection
of
the
drive
coils.
Check
the
connection
of
R2-
R5,
ete.
Is
the
connection
wire
of
the
speed
selecting
circuit
dis-
connected?
Does
the
record
rotate
either
at
33-1/3
or
45
RPM?
Yes
Does
the
(one
changeover
switch
have
a
contact
failure?
Check
to
see
whether
CS
is
short-circuited,
or
whether
a
short-circuit
is
made
between
the
collector
and
emitter
of
X17.
Check
the
HG
between
those
bases
between
which
no
output
appears.

the
connection
wire.
Replace
the
change-
over
switch,

or
R32
is
defec-
tive.
Or
check
to
see
whether
the
connec
tion
cord

connected.
