Lead-out
adjustment
After
replacing
the
cartridge
or
changing
the
lead-out
mechanism,
adjust
using
the
following
procedure:

When
the
arm
does
not
lead
out.
Play
JVC
test
record
RG-652
(pitch
3mm)
and
turn
the
adjusting
screw
shown
in
Fig.
8
counterclockwise
until
the
tonearm
leads
out
properly.
@
When
the
arm
leads
out
too
early
(before
reaching
the
Lead-out
most
inner
groove),
play
JVC
test
record
RG-653
adjusting
(reverse
side
of
RG-652)
and
turn
the
adjusting
screw
SEreWy
clockwise
until
the
tonearm
leads
out
properly.
Silicon
grease
Pick-up
arm

Lubrication

Apply
silicon
grease
to
the
groove
on
the
rear
side
of
the
Fig.
8
gear
as
shown
in
the
left
Figure.
Stylus
tip
position
adjustment

Adjust
the
height
of
the
stylus
tip
with
the
adjusting
screw
on
the
arm
elevator
shown
in
Fig.
7
until
the
distance
between
the
stylus
tip
and
record
surface
is
approximately
10mm
when
the
arm
leads
out.
Turning
the
screw
clockwise
lowers
the
stylus
tip
and
counterclockwise
raises
it.
Speed
adjustment
of
turntable

semi-fixed
resistor

motor
control

speed.
